Midweek Prayer
WEDNESDAYS FROM 12:15 - 12:45 PM
Jesus is the hope of the world. The Church is Jesus' plan to bring his hope to the world, and prayer is the pathway to bring all of this together! Everyone is invited to join us Wednesdays from 12:15pm - 12:45pm in the West Auditorium for a time of worship reflection, and prayer.
Seniors Brunch

Global Leadership Summit
AUGUST 7-8, 2025
The Global Leadership Summit is the premier leadership event of the year. Broadcast in-person at hundreds of partner host sites around the world, this two-day experience brings together curious, growth-minded leaders and aspiring leaders. The Global Leadership Summit features diverse, world-class speakers. They are leading experts spanning a wide range of fields, including ministry, business, nonprofit, entertainment and education. They will deliver fresh, actionable, and inspiring leadership insights and encouragement. First Christian Church will be a host site; we'd love for you to join us!
JumpStart: Mission Accomplished
For the past 15 years, our JumpStart Back-to-School Clinic has helped hundreds of local students head into the school year ready to learn—providing physicals, dental and vision screenings, vaccinations, haircuts, and backpacks filled with supplies.
But now, thanks to expanded access through local providers like Crossing Healthcare, Familia Dental, and the Macon County Health Department, families can easily get these services year-round—including walk-in options all summer long!
In short: the need we once met is now being fully covered—praise God! Thanks to expanded local resources, the baton has been passed—and that’s a win for our community.
We’re so grateful for every volunteer who made JumpStart possible over the years, and we’re excited to refocus our efforts on what’s next as we continue doing whatever it takes to reach our community with the Good News of Jesus.

Sensory-Friendly Worship Gathering
SATURDAYS AT 5PM IN THE EAST AUDITORIUM
We invite you to a new kind of worship experience created especially for individuals who may be sensitive to lights, sound, crowds, or other sensory input. We understand that traditional worship services can sometimes feel overwhelming, and we want to offer a space that is peaceful, accessible, and welcoming for all. Here’s what you can expect at our Sensory-Friendly Worship Gathering:
- Gentle Lighting – No flashing or harsh lights. The environment will be softly lit to promote calm and comfort.
- Controlled Sound – Music and voices will be at a lower, consistent volume. There will be no sudden loud noises or sound effects.
- No Fog or Special Effects
- Flexible Seating and Movement – Feel free to stand, sit, move, or take breaks as needed. We want you to feel at ease.
- Welcoming Environment – Whether you have a specific sensory sensitivity or just prefer a quieter space, you are warmly welcome here.
This service is designed to create space for rest, reflection, and connection with God and with one another, without sensory overload.
I'll Start Podcast
We are excited for the debut of our "I'll Start" mental health podcast hosted by Heather Kaloupek (LCSW), Morgan Arseneau, and Fred Saurmann. This podcast aims to raise awareness and bridge the gap between mental health and faith. It fosters a supportive community and spreads hope by courageously sharing personal stories and encouraging others to do the same.

CHILD CARE (PART TIME)
We’re looking for friendly, caring, and responsible individuals to help provide a safe and welcoming environment for children during evening and special events. This role involves supervising and engaging with kids, ensuring they’re having a fun and safe time, and supporting parents who need childcare. CAFE SERVER/BARISTA (PART TIME)
Our Mosaic Cafe is growing, and we are looking for a part time server/barista to join our team. Our staff works closely together in providing a quality experience to our guests in Mosaic Cafe. We are committed to serving our customers as a ministry of the church. The job is primarily for counter service, but we need someone who is also willing to help out behind the scenes with food prep and clean up duties. We're looking for a friendly Front Office Assistant to create a welcoming environment for all who call or visit. You'll work with our team to handle administrative tasks, manage calls, coordinate events, and support church ministries with excellent communication and a professional demeanor. This role involves tasks like managing volunteer background checks, assisting with our annual conference, and supporting church records, all while working closely with our Office Manager and staff.
