The Care Ministries Team at First Christian Church provides Christ-centered care to people in the congregation and in the local community during all seasons of life. Our care team is here to walk alongside you during both difficult and joyous times to join in celebration, offer emotional support, provide sound guidance, and to help restore balance between body, mind, and soul. Faith 45
Are you or do you know someone experiencing miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss or have you experienced this in the past? We want to help. Through Faith 45 ministries, we want to provide support for families going through pregnancy or infant loss. We hope to share God’s hope in a season that can feel so hopeless. Chaplaincy
The Chaplaincy Team is charged with following the words of our Lord, “I was sick and you took care of me.” Our well trained team goes to the broken, the bruised, the battered, as well as the blessed to offer help, healing, hospitality, and hope in the name of our Lord. We meet people where they are and offer to assist them in accessing their faith as they continue life’s journey. It is our calling to be the hands and feet of Jesus to all he places in our path. We do this with unconditional positive regard as we recognize that all are made in the image of God. We are privileged and blessed to be able to do this ministry with the support and prayers of First Christian Church.
Visitation Ministry
The Care Ministry team provides prayer, support, and visitation to individuals receiving treatment within hospitals, assisted living communities, and to those who are homebound.
