Rooted Crew is for kids age 2 through 5th grade. Our Rooted Crew will be walking through a journey that mirrors the adult Rooted experience — but in a way that’s completely kid-centered and packed with FUN! Each week will include Bible lessons, interactive games, musical worship, small group devotionals, hands-on crafts and activities, snacks, and meaningful conversations. Along the way, kids will also take part in a service project, a special prayer experience, and a celebration night to wrap it all up. 

The cost is $40 for the first child and $20 for each additional child from the same family. This covers all 10 group sessions and the Week 11 Celebration. Those under age 2 will receive free childcare. You can sign up and pay for both Rooted Crew and childcare during registration.

Student Life is our ministry to students in 6th-12th grades, and they meet Sunday evenings during ROOTED. You do not need to register your teen in advance for Student Life.

Rooted will be offered twice a year—once in the Fall and once in the Spring.

All Rooted groups will meet on-site at First Christian Church.

Rooted is a significant commitment, and we believe it’s worth it! If you know you'll miss more than two meetings, we ask that you wait to join the next session. The 11 weeks are a cumulative experience, and full participation honors your group and the process.

Our staff will prayerfully place participants into groups of about 10–14 people. We consider age, marital status, and life stage, and we form men’s, women’s, and married couples groups to create the best possible experience. We are also offering the option of "mixed groups" this time around.

Yes. You’ll have short daily readings and reflection questions—about 20–30 minutes a day, 5 days a week.
