2011 Stewardship Campaign for First Christian Church
This is one of the most exciting times in the history of First Christian Church. Much is being accomplished by our church family in the greater Decatur region and BEYOND.
On Sunday June 5, 2011, we announced the official launch of BEYOND, the capital stewardship campaign for First. BEYOND will make it possible for us to fulfill our dreams for the future.
We dream of a time when every person involved with First grows BEYOND, becoming a devoted follower of Jesus and involved in a meaningful ministry. We dream of a church family with a passion for sharing their faith with neighbors. We dream of a church that goes BEYOND what is typical, bringing light to those who are living apart from Christ. We dream of a community that goes BEYOND cultural barriers to be united in its love for Jesus. We dream about going BEYOND our borders to support evangelism in Kenya.
God has blessed our church with phenomenal growth and has placed even larger challenges and opportunities before us. The Lord has blessed us a vision for the future and a mission statement that drives all we do.
