Caring for a child can be a little scary and sometimes may feel a bit lonely. Here at First, we believe it is our responsibility as a faith community to help parents feel less afraid and know they are not alone while parenting. And in the end, we want the same thing—kids who grow up loving Jesus and have a growing faith.What if...
     ...the church had a clear strategy for engaging with your family from birth through high school?
     ...instead of just knowing what your child learned that week, you had the big picture of what children will experience at each stage?
     ...the church recognized the parent as the greatest influence in their child’s life & dedicated time and resources to supporting parents in this role?

Can you imagine what it would look like if the church and families partnered together in this way?!

We have imagined it. And we think it is possible. So, “Families @ First” is here to partner with you. First Christian Church has three specific ministries (Discovery Zone, F4, and The Well) that distinctly meet the needs of each age group while moving toward a singular goal in concert with families in developing children who grow up to become devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Toddlers who DISCOVER that God loves them and has good plans for their future. Children who DETERMINE that God is Who He says He is and can be trusted. Teens who DEVOTE their lives to following Jesus Christ both now and into the future.
